Self Organizing Map

The self-organizing map is useful to us but some may find hard to use. Use the mouse and select the menu option "Options | Reactive Interface (Toggle)". This applies an elastic-band gravity algorithm to the concepts and documents. They will move to an optimal (untangled) layout where disconnected items repel each other and connected items are attracted.

Clicking an object toggles its selection on and off. Selected objects become highly attracted to each other and repelled more strongly from others. Use this feature to separate and discover the relations among concepts and between groupings of selected concepts and the residue.
